Brown was an undrafted free agent who didn??t even earn a college scholarship until late in his junior hockey career. The 5-foot-10 gamebreaker took over as a sophomore for Minnesota Duluth, posting 24 goals and 23 assists to stir up heated NHL demand for his autograph on a free-agent deal.

Connolly has a similar projection, though it may not be fulfilled as quickly as his billing would suggest.
